Lombok Hosts Mice Corporate Travel Mart

Lombok West Nusa Tenggara and Bali will be the host of MICE Indonesia Corporate Travel Mart (IMCTM) for two days on 17-18 May 2012. Some 150 persons will be coming from Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and India to go to Gili Trawangan Island as the site of this event. (more…)

They are originally come to have a relaxing holiday but after the area developed into MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition) area, people coming to the island also in an official travel. Cow Dung for Biogas

Livestock group called Putri Berkekem (blanketed princess) in Nyangget of Sepakek Village, Pringgarata District Mid-Lombok Regency, during the past year has manage over bio gas from cow dung they raise. There are 32 members in the group rising over 115 cows. They able to produce 30-kilogram dung for biogas from the daily potential of 15-20 kilogram cow dung per day produced. NTB Becomes the Center of Cattle Breeding

West Nusa Tenggara is being the central of cattle breeder in the eastern area of Indonesia along with East Nusa Tenggara and South Sulawesi. Last year West Nusa Tenggara had sent 6,600 Bali cow seeds to other provinces such as Kalimantan, Papua and South Sumatra. Standing as the central of Bali cattle nursery, it is supplying 13,200 cattle this year. (more…)
