Cheap Kerosene Invaded
Hundreds of people invaded one of the kerosene stations in Tanjung Village, Labuhan Haji District, East Lombok, yesterday.
It is due to that kerosene price which is close to the HET – highest retail price – “We intentionally observe directly to the tation so the new kerosene would straightly sell out,” said head of ESDM Trading and Industrial Affair Agency, Lotim Suharyono.
To the press Suharyono explained that they doing this in order to lift up people’s burden. It is due to the kerosene price nowadays is far more higher than the HET. Through cheap kerosene sell, it was sold Rp 3.500 per liter. “Close to the HET it was priced Rp 2.835 per liter,” he said.
According to him, this 3.500 Rupiah per liter is still can be tolerated since the distribution itself cost them additional charge. One of them is an escort from the police. “So, we considered the additional price was done in order to cover the transportation distribution fee from the agent,” he said.
Yesterday, the one of station which is sale in cheap the kerosene owned by H. Syaraffudin. At that time the amount of the kerosene that sale in cheap is 10 drums. Every people who is queue us is just got 5 liters. “Every people will be get the kerosene” said Suharyono.
In the future, the kerosene will be shale in cheap in every station. Especially for the station which got kerosene distribution in huge amount. “If it is just available in one drum, we will not sale it,” Amat Wasilun as the staff of Department of Industry and Trade added.
In this sale they are help with Linmas and Kesbangpoldagri East Lombok especially in the relation with the security. The owner of station named Syaraf explained if his group willing to sale the kerosene with the price as the advice of government. But in the process, we need escorting from police. “Because there are many retailers dislikes it,” he said.
Based on people’ opinion who the kerosene, it is helping them much. “Usually we have to buy kerosene with price more than 5 thousand rupiah,” he said.
