Handicap School Student Win National Pantomime Competition

Physical disability would not become an obstacle for someone to create achievement. One of the students at Dharma Wanita School proves it. He was Zaenudin Muhammad Zaini, who succeeded won the first prize at national pantomime competition held in Surabaya recently.

MZ, as his friend always called him, set aside dozen of his competitors. Previously, before stepping in a national competition, MZ had already set aside his competitors at a provincial competition.

Back in 2009, he also won the same competition at three provincial and regional competition’s level. MZ also won number of different competition in technology such as creativity competition for computer data management, speed mathematic competition, and many others.

“I was glad with my achievements, it suits my motto of ‘never ending creativity’,” she said. That motto does make MZ keep moving and fight against his competitors in varied of art and technology competition. In order to appreciate her achievements, the student of Dharma Wanita School for handicap people who is in his second class in junior high, is given another chance to become NTB’s representative in national competition for computer creative competition. “Even though I participate merely with sign language, I have to use my creativity just like other normal students,” he said.

MZ confess that her physical disability did not make her stop to gain achievement. Through achieving numerous achievements, he wants to use it in order to be able to meet NTB governor, TGH Muhammad Zainul Majdi to have some conversation. To Lombok Post, MZ confessed her dream that is to gain achievement both in regional and national level.

“Still after achieving all of this, I have to remain down to earth,” added this son of Baiq Agustina Widyawati.
