Basic electricity tariff increase for the moment still did not followed by price hike of some commodities. One of them is fruit. Although, next month, predicted that it is likely for fruit price to get increase. Due to the basic electricity tariff hike, it estimated would infected fruit delivery price from outside the area.
“For now, fruit price is stable, if it raise, it still small. But next month it is possible for all fruits price raise,” said Ros, one of the fruit seller in Cakranegara.
She confessed that the government had announced the basic electricity tariff hike. Still, the effect of this raising will be felt next month after the people starting to pay their electricity bill. “Perhaps next month the fruit price would rise a little,” she suspected.
She thought of fruits that will have price hike are imported fruits from outside the area. Meanwhile, local fruits perhaps still stable, it still could not close the probability of price hike also.
Ros confessed that even though fruit price not yet raise those who buy fruits is small. Even tends to decrease.
“Hopefully, next month the consumer will get increase since there is fasting month already,” she hoped.
