Museum Visitor Rise on Holiday
Some students used their vacation semester to visit several tourism objects. One of their favorite objects is Museum NTB. It practically makes the museum that in its usual day quiet change into a crowded place.
“When holiday season come usually number of visitor also rise, especially for elementary student,” said Indah, NTB Museum exchequer receipt.
Indah admitted that number of visitor to the museum rise drastically. On previous months, number of visitor each month is about 500 people. Then for this recent week of holiday season, the visitor reached 5.852 people.
“Most of them are final grade student, perhaps used their last time gathered together with their friends,” she said.
Most of the museum visitor comes from outside Mataram city such as from Middle Lombok, North Lombok and East Lombok.
“This visiting escalation rate caused the museum revenue get increase. Previous year the revenue was merely 4 million Rupiah, now it has reached 7 million Rupiah,” she added.
One of the visitors, named Wati confessed that she comes from Dharma Wanita Playground. She visited the museum in order to introduce the children with stuff in museum.
“I just want the children have new knowledge here,” she confessed.
Another visitor, Andre, a student from Middle Lombok said that he visiting the museum to spend his holiday as well as gain new knowledge.
“There are lots of ancient stuff I can see here, I can get new experience also moreover with teacher accompanied me and explained everything,” he said whilst smile widely.
