NTB Three Years Investment Road System
The government of Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) would develop road development based on investment system applied to their construction partners. IDR 600 million of fund from 2010 Local Budgetary Expense has been prepared whilst all road development cost will be paid in installment for three years.
That road investment program has been delivered by NTB Vice Governor, Badrul Munir after the closing of Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan – Development Planning Discussion – for Rencana Kerja Pembangunan Daerah NTB 2010 – Working Draft for NTB Development in 2010 – on April 25th in the afternoon. “The investor will be decided through auction not just by pointing someone,” he said. He denied that the investment system is a copycat of voor financiring where the implementer is pointed then the cost will be paid later.
According to him, the contract for road development has been made already concerning road with wide variation, starting from 3.5 meter.
Head of Space and infrastructure for NTB Development Planning Agency, A. Mackhul explained that the damage roads in NTB is about 52 percent from 7.354 kilometer road. 601 kilometer of them is national road, 1.842 is provincial road and 4.910 is regency road. “We will stabilized the damaged road so it would effective and functional,” he said. According to the budget ability, road maintenance cannot fulfilled on the whole road width, but can be done through the half wide of the road.
