Diver from England succeeded in breaking the world record by diving more than two days under water and still survived. Will Goodman, a professional diver broke the world record for 48 hours 9 minutes and 17 seconds for dived 6 meter in depth of Lombok water.
Equipped with modified iron frame as well as oxygen tube that always provided by the crew on land made Will managed to dive six-meter beneath the deep sea. For two days, that English man thought of give it up and ended his action.
“It’s like you get tortured, the first 24 hours just like in heaven with that beautiful views in Lombok water, but the next 24 hours, it feels like hell. My leg felt like something stabbed it and at the same time felt like glued to the wall,” said this 32 years old man as cited in The Sun on Sunday (January 24).
“After the first 24 hours, it was hell. I felt like my leg stabbed as well as get glued to the wall. Then my mind started to get confuse and the thought of delicious taste of a cup of hot tea keep crossed my mind,” he continued.
When under the sea, Will was not only stared at the sea. The team who accompanied him broke the record also provided him with some entertainment like IPod. Besides the on land’ team also provides him with joke so he will keep awakened. Whilst, food given to him that went through long pipe straightly directed to him.
Though hurt strike him, Will diving action is watched by Guinness World Records as his record recorder. At least all of this man effort who today has domiciled in Indonesia been paid with the achievement he got.
