Yesterday, in Selaparang Mataram Airport at 06.28 local time, Boeing Garuda 737-400 with flight number GA 820 to Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur have aborted to take off after sliding around 700 meters in height velocity from the end of the runway 27 (east) due to the damage in its speed indicator (speedometer).

Confirmation from the General Manager of Garuda in Mataram, Muhammad Frederick Kasiepo mentioned that the aircraft is driven by two captains pilots Joni Santoso and Basuki merely not being able to read the water speed indicator, “After a brief checked, it back to normal,” he said.
