Police of West Nusa Tenggara – Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) – on Thursday, December 12th around 02.30 p.m. arrested 47 Afghanistan immigrants who strongly suspected wanted to cross into Australia
Those Afghanistan immigrants now is still investigated as well as went through health checks in Polda NTB headquarter due to the flagging and almost fainted condition happened to most of those immigrants.
One of those immigrants had to get carried into Public Hospital of Bhayangkara Polda NTB due to the blood pressure decrease when investigated.
From those 47 immigrants, two of them are adult women, six of them are children whether the rest 39 people are men.
Head of Public Affair Information of Polda NTB Public Relation Department, Ajun Komisaris R Sujoko Aman said that 47 of those Afghanistan immigrants were arrested in two different locations. 41 of them was arrested in a location of provisional shelter in East Lombok Regency and the other six in Puri Senggigi of West Lombok regency.
“Recently the officers still investigate those 47 Afghanistan immigrants in order to learn clearly their direction and purpose of their existence in Polda NTB law territory.
